kristine-connellHailing from Savage, Minnesota, Kristine Connell started playing golf at the age of thirteen, crediting her parents for getting her involved in her local junior golf scene. She played competitively on the JV and Varsity High School team and in her junior year, Burnsville High School captured the Minnesota State Championship title.

Kristine went on to play NCAA Division III Golf for the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She competed all four years, and served as captain in her senior year of 2012. Kristine graduated with a double major: B.S. Golf Enterprise Management and B.S. Business Administration.

Upon graduation, Kristine began working at Whistling Straits in Kohler, WI and completed the PGA Apprenticeship Program. After half a year at Whistling Straits, she moved to Naples in October 2012, and has since worked at Vasari Country Club and West Bay Club. Kristine was elected to become a PGA Class “A” Professional in November 2015.

Kristine is currently the Head Varsity Golf Coach for the Girls’ Golf Team at Community School of Naples, and has coached two individuals to the State Finals in 2012 and 2016. She is also the Site Director the for LPGA/USGA Girls’ Golf Program. In 2017 she received Certification as a US Kids Golf Certified Coach.
